Even though Robert Kazinsky portrayed the Aussie Jaeger pilot in Pacific Rim and Reese Witherspoon’s love interest in that god-awful Hot Pursuit, I will always think of him as Warlow from True Blood. (I’m sure I’ll be thinking differently after …

Rick (Bale) is a slave to the Hollywood system. He is addicted to success but simultaneously despairs at the emptiness of his life. He is at home in a world of illusions but seeks real life. Like the tarot card of the title, Rick is easily bored and needs outside stimulation. But the Knight of Cups is also an artist, a romantic and an adventurer.
In Terrence Malick’s seventh film a gliding camera once again accompanies a tormented hero on his search for meaning. Once again a voiceover is laid over images which also seek their own authenticity. And once again Malick seems to put the world out of joint. »

There's lots of data that HBO execs look at when deciding whether to renew or cancel a TV series. The ratings for initial airings don't play as large a role as they do on commercial stations but they are still an indication of how popular a show is. Here's an updated listing of HBO's recent/current »
The dream is over, fellas ... Sofia Vergara is a married woman. The "Modern Family" star officially took herself off the market Sunday, tying the knot with "True Blood" star Joe Manganiello in a ceremony at The Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida. If they aren't the best looking bride and groom ... we don't know who is. Read more »

From the moment he first met Sofia Vergara, Joe Manganiello couldn't take his eyes off her. Or, famously, from her impressive derriere. The problem was, when their memorable meeting occurred at the 2014 White House Correspondents Dinner, Sofia was engaged to entrepreneur Nick Loeb. So when, a few weeks later, her two-year betrothal was called off (officially, the couple cited conflicting schedules), nothing was going to stop Joe from sweeping the woman of his dreams off her feet. The True Blood star called up their mutual friend, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, and begged for Sofia's number. She was in New Orleans shooting a movie, and the idea of dating someone so soon after the end of her engagement was far »
A year ago, American Horror Story fans were rolling their eyes at the prospect of Lady Gaga “replacing” Jessica Lange in the current season of the show – and I use the word “replacing” loosely as she was hardly replacing the queen of Ahs – only to find that the queen of pop managed to pull off her role as The Countess quite well, after all.
With 5 seasons of shock and horror, the series has been one of the most successful FX shows to date and there’s no guessing why either. The actors are all brilliant and bring their own flavour to an already-spicy show, and they all know exactly how to make each role their own, and with so many different characters to portray on one show, that’s a rather difficult task for an actor to do.
Fans can gladly admit that the show’s producers definitely chose »

Anna Paquin's latest film is especially exciting, because it's something the whole family can enjoy! The former True Blood star, who has taken on a number of risqué roles over the years, told E! News during the Good Dinosaur premiere last night that she's stoked about this project because it's finally something that her kids can watch someday. "Honestly, I loved Pixar films from before I had children. So I can't say that it was entirely that," she told us. "Added bonus that I've now done something that my kids can watch at some point, because most things I do are definitely not kid-friendly. Ever. Even when I was a kid. So, that's nice. But no, I'm a huge Pixar fan »
Alexander Skarsgard looked oh so good when he was spotted soaking up some sun during a Mexican getaway on Friday. The former True Blood star was photographed relaxing on a beach as he chatted up a storm and laughed with a few friends. Alexander, who is currently dating Alexa Chung, showed off his impressive abs when he got up from his lounge chair to put a shirt on. Keep reading to see more steamy snaps, then check out this completely naked photo of the actor from last year. »

Lemony Snicket's alter-ego/representative, author Daniel Handler, tells The Daily Texan that Netflix plans to start filming its TV series adaptation of A Series of Unfortunate Events, in spring 2016, adding, "... but things go terribly wrong all the time so it’s hard to know."
In September, Variety reported True Blood's Mark Hudis will serve as showrunner and executive producer; Barry Sonnenfeld will direct and executive produce. A Series of Unfortunate Events features the Baudelaire orphans' perilous quest for their inheritance and answers to questions about the death of their parents. USA Today and The Huffington Post have unveiled two new clips from Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur, the studio’s follow-up to this summer’s hugely successful Inside Out. The first clip, entitled “Cowboy T. Rexes,” shows Sam Elliott’s Butch, the leader of a pack of Tyrannosaurus rexes, assigning a job to the main protagonist, a young dinosaur named Arlo; in the second clip, entitled “Butch’s Scars,” Butch tells Arlo a ferocious and terrifying story. Take a look at both of them below…

Sources close to the show tell Variety the network selected the new title because “Second Chance” speaks more to what the core of the show is about, opposed to “Lookinglass,” as the character-driven drama is about man who gets a second chance to live his life.
Inspired by the mythology in the original Mary Shelley “Frankenstein” novel, the series revolves around Jimmy Pritchard, a morally corrupt cop who is given another chance at life when he is brought back from the dead. With his new youth and strength, he will face old temptations and a new sense of purpose. “True Blood’s” Rob Kazinsky plays Pritchard.

Just when we think we have a grasp on what to expect when Pretty Little Liars jumps five years into the future this January, along comes another trailer to remind us how truly unprepared we are.
ABC Family over the weekend released an updated look at Season 6B (returning Jan. 12 at 8/7c) with several must-discuss additions, most of which revolve around Caleb.
For starters: Who is he sleeping with at the 0:13 mark? And why is Toby punching him at 0:17? Do I dare make the leap that »

Recent weather-related catastrophes such as Hurricane Katrina, tornados in the Midwest, and the recent flooding in the South all test the limits of human endurance both emotionally and physically.
