As Warner Bros. gears up to unleash its giant robots vs giant monsters epic Pacific Rim, the studio has released the first in a series of behind-the-scenes production blogs, with filmmaker Guillermo del Toro providing an insight into his kaiju homage by introducing 'The Drift Space' and how it's used to power the film's Jaegers; check it out below, after the official synopsis:

Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro presented never-before-seen footage and the new trailer from his highly anticipated sci-fi adventure “Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures Pacific Rim” today at Ncm Media Networks’ “The Bigger Picture” Cinema Upfront Event at New York City’s AMC Loews Lincoln Square movie theater.
As a special guest of the country’s top national cinema network, he previewed a new trailer of the film and then spoke to a standing-room only crowd of over 700 advertising and media industry professionals, highlighting why the movie theater experience is so important for audiences and blockbuster films like Pacific Rim.

Here's a new theatrical poster for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim, and a couple more World War II style propaganda enlistment prints that were created to rally the population to contribute to their country’s war effort. If the military ever gets low on their recruitment numbers they just need to create giant fighting robots to get people excited to join! There's a good chance we'll be seeing a new trailer for the movie soon, so stay tuned!

Warner Bros. has unleashed a new TV spot for Pacific Rim! This is such a badass looking film, and it's sure to be an amazing movie going experience. This is easily Guillermo del Toro's biggest and most epic film, and it looks like he did a great job bringing this giant robot vs. giant monster movie to life.
This is an exciting little TV spot, but I hope that one day the studio releases the trailer for the film that they showed at WonderCon because that thing will just blow you away all over again.
