Storyline

The warrior is Esmeralda, a princess who has brains, can fight and is pretty, too. The sexy one is Don Juan, a pretty boy laughing at danger. These two Spanish champions, along with Don Juan's sidekick Miguel, dance and joke their way through a swashbuckling, Renaissance adventure, saving the queen's English cousin from the nasty, Teutonic Krankenmal. a silly, but very enjoyable film
29 December 2008 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

if i went into this expecting a serious film, i would be disappointed but... the film begins with a request to suspend disbelief

if you have been to and enjoyed renaissance faires - this is a good film for you, especially if you've enjoyed the work of don juan and miguel in person

if you're looking for fast paced humor - the weam dreaver is hysterically funny

personally, i enjoy films where it's clear the cast and crew enjoyed making the film - this is clearly the case here

if you're looking for a film to have fun with, not take seriously, and play along with being silly - you will LOVE this (we did)
