A very satisfying conclusion to a poor opener.

Nikki has been kidnapped, and it seems that animal rights activists are the target. with Claire still in custody Harry is able to question her and find out more about what's going on. It transpires that a huge pharmaceutical company has been developing vaccines, not caring about its methods, testing on many animals.

Leo is still in court witnessing the trial a friend Professor Clune. It falls on him to follow either his conscience or his heart, to either help or condemn Clune. He sees Clune with wife Sylvia, it's a difficult decision for him.

I thought the dental torture scenes were a little too much, slightly too gruesome for Silent Witness, more fitting to a horror movie.

Much better then the first part, the story is more cohesive, helped I think by the arrival of Joseph Mawle's character. The corruption element also helps the story along, you will be left wondering if all the bad guys were taken. 7/10
