Perhaps the high mark of this excellent series and certainly one of my favourites. The episodes starts with the three men searching under bushes in the countryside for a treacle can Compo buried years before. Compo isn't sure just what he put in the can but it must contain some valuable antiques. After a long search, the men take a break at a local pub where Compo & Clegg decide they should find a woman for Foggy. They tell a tall tale to the waitress, saying Foggy is an eccentric millionaire who made his fortune in frozen turkeys. The waitress is not impressed with the poor Foggy, but a wealthy Foggy impresses her a great deal.

After a wonderful scene where the waitress shows her interest to the bewildered Foggy, the three men return to the countryside to find the buried treacle can. Foggy comes up with a suggestion as to why their previous search failed and a new search is initiated. The finale features one of the funniest sequences in the entire series.

Sydney Lotterby returns as director series 7 but by this time Alan J W Bell had found a winning formula and Last of the Summer Wine was now ratings gold. Lotterby was not going to mess around too much but I did find this episode subdued in some ways.

It is an interesting opening with Compo popping up here and there in the countryside. Lotterby realises the need to include as much of the Yorkshire countryside. They are looking for a long lost buried can.

After the reminiscing of the olden days it is then back to a grotty pub and the focus is Foggy's lack of wedded bliss which piques Compo and Clegg. They want to find him a woman and persuade the barmaid that Foggy is an eccentric millionaire who made his money in frozen turkeys which arouses her interest. It sends Foggy rushing out of the pub.

As it is now the case, the episode ends with a slapstick stunt with some kids scooter.

The episode had an aimless feel to it, loosely structured, a throwback almost to the years when Blamire was part of the gang and the series was more character driven.
