Opening episode for series 4 and apparently SW was still being shown at 9.25pm, but it feels as though the change into something more firmly for viewers of all ages is well under way.
While in the first few series, Clegg in particular would come out with some pretty crude words or even concepts, he's very much the mild mannered Clegg most people think of now.
There's very little plot in this one. One of Compo's ferrets seems to be (& we finally get confirmation that it definitely is) loose in Nora's house, but nobody really gets anywhere with getting it back. It culminates with a hilarious "dance" of people looking for an entirely fictitious contact lens.
Not exactly a vintage episode but gently emtertaining. Nora's stealth skills surpassing Foggy's is a particular gem.
