- The gang, Arsenic Candy, dresses suggestively but it is nothing explicit.

- Intense, Brutal violence amongst gangs and bosses, with long strings of acrobatic fighting and strong hand-to-hand combat.
- 5\10 Rated T or PEGI-12 for: Animated Blood, Mild language and Violence.
- During the final battle, the antagonist Venom falls off the construction highrise and is impaled upon a bed of poles. His impalement happens in the blink of an eye though, the most you'll see is a quick spray of black blood (or symbiote in this case). Then the body slides down and twitches just momentarily.

- In the version for earlier gen consoles like ps2 there is only one use of the D-word and that's it.
- 1 use of ass, couple uses of hell and damn and a couple of instances of piss. and pissed off

Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Very Brooding and Atmospheric throughout.
- Many of the boss stages, and the bosses themselves, can be seen as frightening and intense.
- J. Jonah Jameson is unnerving in cut scenes because of how badly the games animation is.
- Venom in look, voice, and mannerisms, is both intimidating and frightening.

- Whilse inside the Black Suit, there is Brutal violence including deadly finishing moves.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Peter, under the influence of the Black Symbiote, can be considered intense and frightening.
- Venom' introduction is very scary, especially during his recruitment of Marko, using his daughter as leverage can be seen dangling high on a tree, helpless. Terrifying.
