Factual errors 

Sir Francis Haddock said he was in the service of King Charles I in 1676. If he was in the English navy at that time, then Charles II would have been the English king. Charles I was beheaded in 1649, after which England entered into a republican period. Charles II became king upon the restoration of the monarchy in 1660.
