Lara Gilchrist's character, Sabrina Vito, was named after Executive Producer Kelly Kulchak's assistant Sabrina Vito.

Goofs:

Continuity: The missing person poster lists Mike's age as 26. However, Captain Connors says the first victim, Zoe Sharp, was killed twenty years earlier in 1986, and Mike's girlfriend tells Shawn that Zoe, Mike's birth mother, had died while Mike was still a baby. This would make Mike 20 years old, not 26.
