Ricky Vera pulls out all the stops as a young boy who suddenly shows up at Madison High wanting to be enrolled. While this is impossible, the crew has to report this to the police as apparently there is no family.

Rickie tugs at the hearts of Brooks, Boynton, and Conklin to get them to like him and it works like a charm. Of course, later we learn that Ricky comes from a very affluent family and has made his cousin a bet that he can get into the high school.

You have to give him an A for perception in seeing the Boynton-Brooks link and the little charmer plays that up to his advantage.

Notice the absence of Walter Denton and Mrs. Davis in this episode.
