Storyline

It's Saturday and Sarah-Jane meets up with Wayne, but her hopes of having some fun are dashed when he explains they are going to be handing out leaflets to the homeless, in order to find Alec. Kelly and Evelyn are out shopping, but Evelyn has brought boyfriend Simon along. Kelly realises that Evelyn just wants her there as an excuse to her mother as to who she is with. The Double Dare Gang are pleased to find their alleyway alien has had some newspaper coverage - but they are confused by a report about a local thinking it was the return of "Spring Heeled Jack." They investigate and find that this is a legendary character who visits the Earth every 100 years. They decide that they will create Spring Heeled Jack themselves as another surprise for Mr. Robson. Sarah-Jane's day is turning out to be no fun at all, insulted by the homeless, and Wayne even asks her for cash to buy some information from a guy in an underpass.
