Storyline

Shawn Spencer ordered a secretary from a models agency, but the first girl is sexy yet too useless, replacement Leslie a perfect secretary but far too sexy being a man. Shawn is no more inclined than the police to take the case of bachelor Robert, who claims to fear being supernaturally murdered in his haunted home, although his therapist Dr. Blinn actually was already. Even after Shawn discloses their only ghost experience was a hoax, Gus insists to investigate, so they move in as protectors and barely survive an arson attempt. The trail to Robert's vindictive ex runs cold, but Shawn seeks solace in his tormented client's mind. Written by KGF Vissers

Trivia

Shawn tells Robert's ex-girlfriend that one of the names considered for their gallery was "Night." This is a joking reference to Night Gallery, the 1970s television anthology series hosted by Rod Serling. The Night Gallery television series was produced by Universal Studios, the same company that produced Psych (and the movie Jaws, which is also mentioned in the episode). See more »

Goofs

(at around 36 mins) As Shawn talks about the chewed toothpicks found he says that there was one found in the doctor's office just like on the "seat" in the car of the individual that tried to kill them. As he says this there is a flashback to the car that clearly shows the toothpick on the floor of the car not on the seat. A mistake that Shawn, a perfectionist on details, would not make. See more »

Quotes

Carlton Lassiter: Need I remind you, Mr. Spencer, what happens when you interfere with a police investigation?
Shawn Spencer: Uh... the case gets solved?
