The Mossad tries to hold Ziva, but she escapes. The FBI issues a warrant for Ziva for espionage and murder, and the FBI takes over the case. With Abby's help, Ziva calls Gibbs in retirement in Mexico; Tony, McGee, Ducky, Abby, and Palmer form a secret pact to help Ziva; Gibbs returns to Washington. Gibbs and Tony agree that Eschel set up Ziva; Gibbs and Ziva investigate in the field; the FBI gets first a tip and then a surprise. Shalom Ziva
17 November 2016 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

I reviewed Hiatus part 2 (season 3 finale) 11 months ago January 1st 2016. I stopped watching NCIS for a while but now I'm back into it. I also just reviewed the latest episode of season 14 Home of the Brave which was a very negative review so now here's my review of Shalom.

This episode was a great one because Ziva was on the FBI's most wanted so the team had to work low key which was awesome. It was a very touching scene when Ziva calls Gibbs for his help and then Gibbs comes back. There was tons of action and explosions in this episode which made it great. I like McGee's character development, it's very nice how he changed but still remains goofy from season 2 to 4. The awesome dialogue that makes NCIS good is very present throughout the episode especially the scene with DiNozzo and Gibbs in the elevator. The ending of this episode was great because we got to see that Ziva is not just a Mossad liaison but truly an NCIS investigator. The overall feel of the episode was awesome because it felt like they were on the run. It feels like an espionage James Bond kind of episode because of all the different nationalities and all the action.

Overall, this a great premiere and I can't wait to review more of season 4. The old seasons are awesome.
