Law of the Sixgun is a low-budget, black and white independent movie made in the 1970s. If you can get around the poor lighting and sound, amateur acting and a slow pace, the movie isn't half bad. I chalk a lot of the shortcomings up to the technology of the time. The professional actors, such as Tex Hill, stand out above the rest. The story is interesting with some plot twists along the way. Fans of independent films and Westerns will enjoy this movie. It's a refreshing throwback in a time where colorful superhero action and science fiction tend to dominate the theaters. And Tex Hill as the Rio Kid is just plain cool. Clint Eastwood couldn't have done it better.
