Rasslor Episode
21 May 2011 | by (So Cal, USA) – See all my reviews

It's strange. Macho has left this plane of existence and all I can think about is the Rasslor storyline is actually a rip-off of a Marvel Annual featuring The Thing of Fantastic 4. http://www.leaderslair.com/marveluniverse/2in1an7.html Other than the Macho's distinct voice, much of the story that is used for the cartoon runs pretty much the same route of the Comic, right down to Monkey's black eye being the same eye as the Thing.

If I was Tom DeFalco, the original writer, I'd ask, did I give permission for The Dexter's people to use my story?

And Tom, if you didn't give permission, can you let me know how they'll recompense you and let me know that it worked out because a guy loved that book so much that when this cartoon came out, it was instantly recognized? Sorry it took so long to let you know and to Macho Man...Still a good rendition of Champion. You made the cartoon memorable.
