Link says "Excuse me, Princess!" (usually in the form of "Well, excuse me, Princess!" or "Hey, excuse me, Princess!") 29 times over 13 episodes, and in every single episode.
Many of the sound effects in this cartoon (Link shooting his sword, Link killing the monsters, items dropping to the ground, etc.) are the same sound effects almost verbatim from The Legend of Zelda (1986) video game.
Since the show is based of the original video game, it only has two Triforce pieces. The Triforce of Courage didn't exist until "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link".
The show addressed the issue if how Link stores his items. They shrink down to fit into a magic bag for easier access.
Link's catchphrase "Excuse me, Princess!" is based on and an imitation of Steve Martin's "Well, excuse me!".
