Storyline

The Brazilian (Santos Futebol Clube) and American soccer team (New York Cosmos) face off at the world's largest sports arena, Rio de Janeiro's Stadium Maracanan. Arsène Lupin III is after the money from the ticket sales for the event. In order to have an alibi, Lupin, Jigen and Goemon get themselves arrested by crashing a truck into Brazil's Christ the Redeemer statue. And while in jail hospital, Fujiko helps the gang escape to steal the money and hide it inside the statue. Written by Tenchi
