Storyline

CAKE, E/I, TVY 7, is a live-action show within a show about a 13-year-old girl (a la Martha Stewart) who hosts a cable access show with her two best friends. The three girls show their audience (and each other) how to take ordinary, everyday items (t-shirts, CD cases, lamp shades) and make them extraordinary with a little imagination (and a hot glue gun!). Love the show!

Congratulations CAKE TV!

I tuned in early Saturday morning to check-out the new CBS shows and it really is nice to see that CBS is now bringing in real people to their children's morning schedule.

I particularly like the plot. Simple, clean and with a lesson that's tagged at the end and easy for my children (and maybe for all the other kids as well) to pick up. This sure promotes good child activity at home and at play.

Kudos to CBS and the folks who created the show. I will definitely tune in again with my kids and tell my family and friends about CAKE TV.

Christa Allen as Cake, great host, and a good friend to all. Keep smiling, Cake! Got to start checking my garage for things that my kids can 'change'!

Oh, and Anna Maria (long name but cute) as Miracle, she's funny and I like her role. Saw her in Hannah Montana and she can play different characters really well. Awesome job Miracle!

Keegan as Benjamin, reminds me of a young Will Smith! He's funny but I look forward to seeing what he does the next show!

And of course the cute little Emily, as Amy. Gosh, look at the energy she has!

Overall? I say 10! You've got my vote, CAKE TV! My family and I really enjoyed watching and look forward to seeing more of CAKE TV!

Here's one for the books!
