Storyline

Lois and Michael Graves are getting divorced, which prompts three other couples to stage an intervention. This drama begins as the estranged couple arrives. During the course of the evening, faults in the other couples relationships are revealed to the point where two of the other marriages are completely shattered. One couple decided not to have children, and the wife pretended to be unable to conceive to explain their lack of family. The husband of another couple was having an affair with the wife of the third. When Mr. and Mrs. Graves leave, there is no reconciliation between them. They are convinced they made the right decision, and were the only couple who had the wherewithal to face their problems and take the obvious next step.
