Sex & Nudity

  • Unlike many other R+J media that contain risqué "husband and wife" themes, this has none as it is aimed at children. Otherwise, these are animals as minor references, like nose rubbing and/or mild smoochies, are present.
  • While Romeo and Juliet are having their moment during their happiness, Kissy questions them about having babies before she responded about her distaste and calls them "stinky babies".

Violence & Gore

  • Mild battle between Romeo and Prince.

Profanity

  • No cursing. This is a kid's movie.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a racial reference, but not technically relevant. Romeo wishes he was different from all Montagues, such as the color of his fur (brown) as Juliet is Capulet (white).

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is an emotional scene near the end, slightly differs from most R+J media that were aimed at adult readers. After Juliet drinks a potion that was brewed by the Otter, she is knocked out cold. Romeo walks towards the proposed dead Juliet, he kisses her and becomes out cold. The two were later brought back to life after the seal family members weep for their proposed loss.
