This is one of the best-made shorts I've seen. The cinematography, the lighting, the directing, the acting, all working together to make a solid piece of work. Some may argue the dialogue is a little too sparse, but less is more in my opinion, and Ash Taylor did a great job with it. The sound effects were very effective as well, placed in just the right spots to keep the action moving in the places where there was no dialogue. The quality of the lighting and the cinematography gave it a real vintage, early WWII feel. The use of candles for much of the actual lighting, added a lot to the flavor of being there. Ramsey Bell and Turner Crumbly also did very commendable jobs with the few lines they had. Their presence kept the action moving from start to finish. This short movie is definitely worth giving a view.
