Road trip!

'Lunarville 7' has a real sense of adventure to it, with Captains Scarlet, Blue and Green traveling to an outpost on the moon that has declared sovereignty from Earth's war with Mars. Spectrum's investigation raises questions and opens doors for future episodes ('Crater 101' and 'Dangerous Rendezvous').

The big model work in this one is the moon mobile, which I've always found humorous; although praised for its smooth ride, it's an ungainly beast. But I have nothing but love for the sets; the interiors of Lunarville 7 (and the Captains' sleeping quarters especially) are very stylish.

Scarlet, for his part, is ahead of the curve and outwitting the bad guys. It's kind funny; depending on how he's written, he can come off subservient or sometimes even a little slow. But here, he's all business.

It's a great episode all around.
