Storyline
Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert pick the worst movies of 1992. Ebert picks The Babe, Medicine Man, Folks! and Christopher Columbus: The Discovery. Siskel's first choice is a thriller Ebert hasn't seen: Whispers in the Dark. He spoils the ludicrous surprise ending. His other picks: Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot and Shadows and Fog. He also selects Toys, a movie Ebert disliked but doesn't believe is bad enough to be listed among the worst. Both critics would have selected the same movie as their pick for the very worst, but a coin toss gave Siskel the privilege of skewering Frozen Assets, a dismal comedy with Shelley Long and Corbin Bernsen. Ebert settles instead for lambasting Shining Through and shows a scene in which Melanie Griffith gives an earnest speech about her strudel and her apple compote. Written by
