Storyline

For years, well-integrated ethnic Moroccon Amsterdam screw-up Youssef lied his way trough life, including his ma's matching efforts. Slick wheeler-dealer pick recruits the born liar for his firm, an 'alibi office' which helps people get away with cheating on their partners. Youssef soon becomes disguise genius Sander's best mate. Things get tricky when both Rick and Youssef fall in love with airhead waitress Andrea and Rick orders Youssef to arrange his alibi for cheating on his wife, unsuspecting lawyer Tanya.

Overall, pretty good

So the movie might be a little cheesy but I found it fun as well. My favorite part, and I am bias when it comes to this, is the setting of the movie. It was based in Amsterdam and the lead character rides his bike just like the locals do, the canals and cute outdoor cafés are visible in the background, etc... I think the idea behind the movie is great and it has a lot of potential but it does fall just a little short on the expectations list. I watched this movie on a plane traveling over to Europe and found it to be a nice break from the mainstream Hollywood movies. Besides, with 9 hours on a plane to kill, it was a nice break, subtitles and all!
