The Right Way
1 July 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Warning do not read unless seen episode.

As an old saying goes "if your not going to learn the easy way, your going to learn the hard way." and the Rangers really do learn their lesson hard. We see despite banished and disenchanted they still have one more chance, as the council is testing them getting them to prove their worth.

Things for the Rangers look bleak and the Rangers aren't entirely sure what to do as they are literally out manned and outgunned. We then see a moment when Toby he is just listening to a piece of a music box but then it gets taken away from him and smashed. That moment of course is the straw that broke the camel's back or should of say the Rangers; powers or no powers their not going to let their friend and anyone else take that crap. And here we see the Rangers have passed one part of the test where they learn about true heroism, it's never about whether you have powers or not it's about always the willingness and courage to do the right thing no matter what.

And we have a battle take place and we see despite their efforts the Rangers are getting their butts kicked as their are outnumbered but we see despite this fact their not giving up and continuing to save lives in the process, no matter the result of battle. The council we see then overturns their previous verdict and then gives the Rangers their color and powers back, as that point I thought yeah we're back in business. And we see the Rangers just taking out the trash as we see them blasting away at most of the flunkies with their powers and Nick he uses the power cycle against most of them.

They of course triumph in one battle but another is about to begin and we see that two of the monsters are back for a rematch. Sadly it's not going well, despite actually putting up effort they are still getting their butts kicked. Their at a slight moment of despair but this time they don't give in, instead we see each of them confess to their previous error on taking the easy way out. At this moment it really showed that the Rangers have passed the last test which is taking responsibility for oneself which is what makes a person truly powerful. And it has made them all even more powerful than before as they've all been rewarded with an upgrade.

I really like the staffs they get, the most interesting feature is the fact they have these rotaries where each number just amplifies your powers more, much like the level ups for magic in the RPGs. We see them turn the tables (or should I say rotary) and blow away both of the monsters, doing all themselves without taking the easy way which is why they triumphed.

It may be the hard way but it's always the right way.
