Storyline

While Blackwell the magician is giving a performance in a newly renovated theater, he has an uninvited guest - the Green Goblin, who wants to use his secrets of magic to commit robberies. Sneaking into Blackwell's home, the Goblin goes through his magic book to discover ways to rob a parking meter, a jewelry store, and a bank vault. The Goblin is caught in the act by police at the bank, but he renders their guns useless and ties them together with ropes before moving on to another bank. Spidey, however, is on to the Goblin, and confronts him at Blackwell's home. After a pumpkin bomb stuns Spidey, the Goblin binds him with chains then levitates him into a plastic cylinder, which quickly fills with water. After the Goblin leaves on another robbery spree, Spidey manages to escape and break loose from the chains. The Goblin comes back to find Spidey has escaped his chains, and hides behind a wall to send an ax at Spidey. Spidey rips the ax loose and uses spider-sense to locate the Goblin ...
