Bill's "bicycle elevator" is supposedly being suspended just by the loop of rope hanging from the overhead beam, but when the bike's chain comes loose again and he starts to fall, you can clearly see a horizontal part of the rope being held off to the side and then released to allow the bike/mannequin unit to drop to the ground.
