Dissension in the ranks
bkoganbing7 October 2013
This episode of Ironside finds dissension in the ranks of Raymond Burr's team. Don Mitchell is given a law school assignment on a murder case with the names eliminated. But the Chief with just a small description picks out the real case, one that the SFPD investigated while he was hospitalized.

It involved a man accused of murdering his girlfriend who is now serving in prison. Mitchell goes up to see him and is convinced he's innocent and starts his own investigation. He thinks the police botched the original investigation, but on it was Don Galloway before being assigned to the Chief's squad.

Naturally this causes a lot of friction, especially after the convicted killer's sister accuses the cops of a frame.

Not one of the better episodes, the reason why the accused could not help in his own defense originally was truly rather thin.

The team has seen better days.
