The women and the men are each planning a day outing. Alec, Felix, a reluctant Jasper and an unexpected Gus go ice fishing, while Janet, Janet's younger sister Abigail (with whom Janet has a strained relationship), Hetty and Olivia go to an auction and tea at the White Sands Hotel. Felicity, Sara and Cecily have the pleasure of babysitting baby Daniel, and Abigail's slighter older rambunctious son Robert, nicknamed Lucky. The men reminisce (Alec and Jasper about their common childhood, although they come to a quick realization that they're not as young as they used to be) and bond, although the elder men skirt Felix's questions on "what men and women do". And Gus asks Jasper about love. The women, on the other hand, continually bicker - although they won't admit to it - especially Janet, Abigail and Hetty. Back at home, Felicity and Sara are getting exasperated by Lucky's antics. As the men and women head home, a blizzard roars through the area. The women arrive home to a crisis, which leads to more problems, but these issues may be what Janet and Abigail need to clear the air. Written by Huggo
