A hidden treasure!

Great extra in the series of "After School Specials" included on the Touch Me in the Morning DVD. The best of the three short films, Monty Ward's epic obscene poem is an inspiring wild-eyed Vonnegut-esquire old man manifesto. The bearded psycho is as good in this as in the previous shorts, in his shoe-obsessed creepy madness. Andrews doesn't just make people on the fringe say lines...he allows them to use their own overwhelming character and they're obviously inspired by their opportunities to shine. Andrews' casts are to me far better than any Hollywood rosters. A little too little attention paid to the blood and psycho effects(Troma gives out the recipe left and right) but a great little film that should leave anyone smiling. A well-earned 10.
