Trivia

In March 2013, it was reported that Paramount changed a scene in the film in which the characters speculate that the zombie outbreak originated in mainland China in hopes of landing a distribution deal in the country. However, an executive familiar with upcoming releases in China later told The Wrap in June 2013 that a cut of the film was rejected by Chinese censors. A Paramount executive contended that he was "unaware of any rejection", explaining, "We have submitted one version and have yet to receive a response." See more »

A good and solid 1 out of 10.
3 July 2013 | by (Germany) – See all my reviews

OK, i just finished watching. No WW Z is not good at all. I gave it on IMDb a (1/10).

Maybe the worst expensive movie ever made. No character development, no suspense, implausible action sequences, no horror, not a single drop of blood, lot of useless scenes with the best scenes already spoiled in the trailer and the worst is a complete out of sync 30min ending sequence.

From minute 76 on you believe you are in a different B zombie movie that a high school kid could produce for $10,000. It's just crazy bad and the person responsible for this remake should be shoot himself because he ruined whatever was left of this movie at this time. Hope that there will be a directors cut to see what the original ending looked like.

And they really talking abut a follow-up to this?
