Storyline

Bay Village, Ohio physician Sam Shepard was convicted of the bludgeoning murder of his wife but later won an acquittal on appeal. Nova reviews the evidence in detail focusing on the blood spatter evidence that won Shepard his acquittal and the DNA evidence his son used in his wrongful imprisonment lawsuit.
