Michael Gleissner also directed "Irreversi", the English version of this film which apparently has an identical storyline with different actors. However, the Mandarin version is also accompanied by the English name "Irreversi", and it simply adds to the confusion. But what is even more confusing is the film itself, which revolves around a newlywed couple who are keeping secrets from each other. The bulk of the film is stretched out by meaningless scenes filled with unconvincing dialogue between the couple that borders on revolting, and character motivations/interactions that are sketchy at best. The plot twist at the end will make you say "ohhh....", but rather than the "ohhh, why didn't I see -that- coming....", it's the "ohhh c'mon, this is so dumb...." silliness. Why did Gleissner make two identical versions of this film? That's just doubling the displeasure (or whatever the antithesis of pleasure is....).
