Warning: Spoilers
Eddie is interested in being a blood donor ( mainly to get time off work ). So is Bill. A heated discussion ( aren't all discussions heated between these two? ) in the canteen ensues. Eddie thinks Bill's blood is of inferior quality, and that no-one will want it.

Clark ( Vernon Joyner ), the factory foreman, tells Eddie to show Bill how to operate a new machine. Eddie refuses, and when Clark tries to put pressure on him, he stages a one-man strike. Clark then tells Bill to go back to his old machine. The latter refuses, also beginning a one-man strike. So now both Eddie and Bill are on strike for different reasons. Their wives have decided to withhold their labour too, refusing to cook their food and denying them access to the bedroom...

Anticipating the famous 'Three-Day Week' episode of 'Till Death Us Do Part' by about two years, this is a good episode, giving Joan and Barbie the upper hand over their spouses. Seemingly unable to fend for themselves, Eddie and Bill turn up at their factory's canteen, despite being on strike. Clark confiscates Bill's plate of sausages and chips, while Eddie is forced to cower under a table, stealing Jacko's lunch.

Funniest moment - when Clark sits down to eat, Eddie steals a banger, and bites into it. It has been smothered in mustard, unfortunately.

Second funniest moment - after an accident at work, Eddie is rushed to hospital where he is given a blood transfusion. Can you guess whose blood they use?
