The one that slipped by
29 July 2013 | by (United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

This film's broadcast was delayed by the BBC several times because of threat of lawsuits by the various parties who were being portrayed in this film.

Transmission took place some time after production and although edits were made including the tile being changed from Slip Up, lawsuits still took place, including one by Jack Slipper who successfully sued because he was seem to be incompetent or his character was seen wearing a shower cap!

This film is unlikely to be shown again until the BBC triple check that all the real life characters are well and truly dead.

The film is about the hunt for the great train robbers, especially Ronnie Briggs. Larry Lamb might not the the strongest actors about but Jeremy Kemp is commanding as Slipper of the Yard with or without the shower cap.
