I've only been to Florida once in my life and I remember being struck by the sensation that just behind the sunny veneer, this place was home to intensely tangled human dramas. The cast of characters in Pose Down represent all that I found deeply intriguing and bizarre about Florida, people confronting personal challenges while, to an extent, going to great lengths to keep up appearances and convince themselves otherwise. Chance and Marlena helped flesh out the underlying tension and the humor was perfectly paced. I will definitely recommend this film. Great scenes and I appreciated the craft involved in this type of cinematography. Well done!
