I must admit that considering the release of "American Gods" is just around the corner, I'm just not that excited about the project. I'm having a hard time putting my finger on exactly why that is but I have a feeling it may have something to do with the fact that I'm still not really sure what the show is about beyond the plot that has a guy named Shadow taking the job of bodyguard to a guy named Wednesday.
Based on Neil Gaiman's much-beloved novel, the show comes to us from Bryan Fuller (of "Hannibal," "Dead Like Me," "Wonderfalls" and "Dead Like Me" fame) and Michael Green (of the short-lived but amazing "Kings," "Heroes" and "Everwood") and stars Ricky Whittle ("The 100") as Shadow, Ian McShane as Wednesday as well as Gillian Anderson, Emily Browning, Dane Cook, Peter Stormare, Or [Continued ...] »

Even after the fallout from Captain America: Civil War, many would still consider Steve Rogers to be the moral anchor of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, even if his immediate future donning the stars and stripes is largely up for question – then again, we fully expect Joe and Anthony Russo to have Chris Evans’ star-spangled hero back in business in time for Thanos and Avengers: Infinity War.
Other members of the Avengers are more difficult to pin down, morally speaking. But when it comes to Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther, Ryan Coogler believes that, because of his duty as a soldier, coupled with his ties to politics, the character of T’Challa exists in the grey area between war and, essentially, pacifism. First spotted by ComicBook.com, Coogler touched base on Boseman’s conflicted lead during »

The previous two issues of Marvel’s latest company-wide crossover were all about the action, as the combined heroes of the Marvel universe fought off a never-ending tirade of giant extraterrestrial monsters. While there’s still a lot of biff-bang-pow for your buck this issue, Monsters Unleashed #3 also takes time to work through some plot points. Unfortunately, it also loses a bit of its momentum in the process.
The first half of the issue deals with the fun twist on the cliffhanger from last time. The second wave of monsters that have arrived on Earth are actually a bunch of classic Marvel creatures – including Fing Fang Foom and Tim Boo Ba (Google it, newbies) – who have come to protect the planet from these imposters to their throne. So, with the monster threat being dealt with by some unlikely allies, »

Part RPG, part plat-former, Vertical Drop Heroes HD is a unique new game for the PlayStation 4. Originally a browser game, Vertical Drop Heroes HD has players pick their choice of hero, randomly generated with various specs and weapons, to battle in 2D vertical scrolling randomly generated levels. You only get one life and then must choose a new character. Battle your way through, or down rather, all 10 levels to win!
The premise is simple in Vertical Drop Heroes HD, take control of a randomly generated character and fall down a randomly generated level to the bottom. Along the way down you will encounter traps, alarm flags that will spawn more enemies, locked chests, caged adventurers to free and help you, and at the bottom, a boss. These characters only have one life and start out at level one, so when they die, you have to start over. The nice feature »
In April 2016, digital network StyleHaul joined the content boom on Verizon’s Go90 platform by co-producing Relationship Status, a series about the relationship between technology and modern dating. Now, more episodes of that show are on the way thanks to a deal that will bring two additional Relationship Status seasons to Go90.
The renewal covers 24 episodes spread across the two forthcoming seasons. The Relationship Status cast will expand to feature both traditional TV notables (such as Gilmore Girls and Heroes vet Milo Ventimiglia, who co-starred in season one) and digital media standouts. That being said, aside from Ventimiglia’s reprisal of his role, no specific casting details have been announced yet.
Behind the camera, there are plenty of parties involved in the production of Relationship Status. Céline Geiger is the show’s creator, and its executive producers hail from StyleHaul, Full Fathom Five, and Ventimiglia’s Divide Pictures.

Common is currently participating in interviews for the now released John Wick: Chapter 2 [you can read my review here], and as us to be expected the actor is fielding a number of superhero related questions. Specifically, Yahoo Movies asked about his casting as Green Lantern in Mad Max creator George Miller’s unfortunately canned Justice League Mortal project.
“Yeah, I was cast and we started rehearsals for the film,” said the actor/rapper. “I went to Australia. I tried on the outfit and everything. It was heartbreaking, but it happened. The script was super-dope. It was intricate. And knowing George Miller was going to do it, you knew it was going to have that raw edge. But it had Superman, Aquaman, it had all of the characters really involved. Each one of them had moments and you got to know them. It was a strong piece.”

This is how you pay tribute to one of the greats.
David Bowie received a GRAMMYs tribute performance following his death last year -- courtesy of Lady Gaga, who covered his hits from "Ziggy Stardust" to "Heroes" and everything in between -- but Sunday's show honored his final album, Blackstar, with five Grammy wins.
Blackstar won Best Alternative Music Album, Best Engineered Non-Classic Album, and Best Recording Package, while the title track won Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance -- a complete sweep for the 17-time nominee.
Bowie had only one previous Grammy win, taking home Best Short Form Video in 1985 for "Jazzin' for Blue Jean," as well as a Grammy Lifetime Achievement award in 2006. The Chainsmokers and Katharine McPhee accepted the Best Rock Song award on his behalf, with McPhee declaring, "His music is »

The album of the same title, released just before his death in January 2016, nabbed the awards for best alternative music album, best recording package and best engineered album, non-classical.
The legend died on Jan. 10, 2016, following a private 18-month battle with cancer. He was 69.

The last 4 episodes of This Is Us will go places we've never been before. Here's a taste. pic.twitter.com/zZIfPWDg1N - Ken Olin (@kenolin1) February 9, 2017 Milo Ventimiglia has had a dedicated fan base for years now thanks to his memorable roles on Gilmore Girls and Heroes, but a whole new wave of people has fallen in love with him thanks to his hit new show, This Is Us. While his character, Jack, is basically perfect, his facial hair has also become a beloved thing among viewers. The actor's beard and mustache have transformed through different decades on the show, and he also has been rocking the hell out of it in real life. But things took a (razor) sharp turn this week when it was revealed that he - wait for it - shaved it all off. The show's director and producer, Ken Olin, posted a video from »
