Great pilot to start off a classic!
5 May 2013 | by See all my reviews

This was a great pilot a two parter that would start off a classic. Of the daring and fearless teenage race car driver, Speed Racer. As the world of Japan animation would hit the USA with this cartoon.

As Speed is in a race to get money for his father and would be company as his father does not want his son to race. Due to later on, in later episodes his older brother, Rex's running away from home.

But there is a gang of thugs that want to get the secrets of the now famous Mach Five car. As the thugs will do anything and everything to steal the Mach Five car secrets away regardless of consequence.

As Speed, girlfriend Trixie, brother Sprittle, and the gang must stop the thugs and win the race to help out Pops.

Great start to a great show!
