Lost its grip on the audience's attention
deickemeyer31 December 2017
An adventure picture which lost its grip on the audience's attention because it became very unconvincing toward the end. It promised well, for we have had so many sloppy love stories from all makers that a picture with this situation was welcome. It is a story of half-savage Indian peons in Mexico and the center of interest is the child of an American doctor whom an Indian is about to sacrifice to the sun god because the doctor had failed to cure his mother. It was rather weakly produced and not strongly acted. - The Moving Picture World, November 15, 1913
