Storyline

The Doctor kills the android princess, Count Grendel finds his plans foiled and can not find an opening to kill the new king (especially since the King's head bodyguard now suspects him of treachery against the King). So he offers Romana up in exchange to the Doctor for his own safety. But the Count has built another android programmed to kill the Doctor once it hears the Doctor's voice. Meanwhile, the real Romana escapes Grendel's castle and tries to ride for help. Written by Moviedude1

Quotes

Zadek: Doctor...
Doctor Who: Hmm?
Zadek: The Prince...
King "George" Reynart: [interjecting] King.
Zadek: Oh, uh, quite so, Your Majesty!
Doctor Who: [disapprovingly] Zadek.
Zadek: Oh, drat. I keep forgetting he's only an android. Doctor, the King seems to be - how should I say it - a trifle more, uh...
Doctor Who: What, intelligent than the real one?
Zadek: Yes.
Doctor Who: Well, of course he is. I programmed him.

Android Wars
17 August 2015 | by (Swansea, United Kingdom) – See all my reviews

After Tom shows who Estrella really is, one begins to question the intelligence of Archimandrite, he's in need of glasses.

More Android capers continue, with both sides vying for the Throne of Tara, and Madam Lamia's genius being used for all sorts of dastardly deeds.

The sets continue to be lavish and now the guards have lost their hats they look really effective too.

It's nice to see that Tara had its own Northern Ireland as Declan Mulholland's 'Till' makes an appearance, and gold stars if you can make out what he's on about.

Mary Tamm gets to have lots of fun here in three guises, Romana, Estrella and an Android, she's excellent.

Overall it's fun I guess, but by this third part it's wearing a little thin. 6/10
