Trivia
David Gooderson, who plays Davros, was also uncredited as some Dalek voices. This continued a trend of the actor playing the creator of the Daleks also doing voices of the creation. Michael Wisher originated the role of Davros previously in Genesis Of The Daleks, in which he also provided some Dalek voices. Wisher had provided Dalek voices in the previous Dalek story, Death To The Daleks.

When the Doctor enters the lower level with Romana, they pass by two BBC studio lighting equipment stands.

The Perpetual Pensioner...

The Daleks burrow down like desperate moles, looking for a creator, who initially made them whole, but the Doctor beats them to it, finds immortal dormant cruet, who starts to wake, removes the brake, from his cockpit.
