Fun but not entirely Wheel-istic!

Review of all 6 episodes:

This is a fun and mostly very high standard production providing tense and exciting Cybermen attacks and the arrival of a good new companion Zoe. (Previous companion Victoria having just left, featuring only in the clip from the end of the preceding episode.)

The plot and some of the science does not all make sense. Some of the science is not as realistic as it could be and the Cybermen's plan is not entirely sensible or believable. It is not as awful a plan as some would have you believe though and it certainly does not make it an unsuccessful story, it just takes a bit of the silver sheen off of some of this adventure. It still is very good, entertaining stuff with parts 5 and 6 particularly good.

The Wheel in Space is a very enjoyable romp with excellent elements but it looks weaker by comparison to the truly brilliant stories preceding it in season 5.
