Quotes

[first lines]
Tanya Lernov: My nose never lets me down.
Leo Ryan: Well, don't overwork it, eh? I mean it's rather pretty. Too much exercise might damage its shape.
Tanya Lernov: [half laughing] If something happens, don't say I didn't warn you. That's rocket dangerous!
Leo Ryan: Nah, not for long. Just as Jarvis gives the word, the laser will blast it out of existence.

Fun but not entirely Wheel-istic!

Review of all 6 episodes:

This is a fun and mostly decent standard production providing tense and exciting Cybermen attacks and the arrival of a good new companion Zoe. (Previous companion Victoria having just left, featuring only in the clip from the end of the preceding episode.)

The plot and some of the science does not all make sense sadly. Some of the science is not as realistic as it could be and the Cybermen's plan is not entirely sensible or believable. It is not nearly as awful as some would have you believe though and the issues certainly do not make it a totally unsuccessful story, they just take the silver sheen off of some of this adventure. It still is mostly solid, entertaining stuff with part 5 the least good.

The Wheel in Space is an enjoyable romp with some excellent elements but it looks weaker by comparison to the truly brilliant stories preceding it in season 5.
