The movie bases itself on that BBoying doesn't have the same intensity and anger as Krumpin. That is a load of crap, it brings the same and even more intensity and anger as Krumpin. The difference here is that Krumpin only brings anger into the dance, while BBoying brings anger, skills, dancing, execution etc... I understand how Krumpin is the new dance and how they let their anger out and make you understand how they are feeling. But that has nothing to do with skills at all. The reason they called it a tie was because if they had said the BBoy's had won it would be because Adolfo Quinones used to be one and it would look unfair. Bboy vs Krumpin, you can compare it. Bboying requires athleticism and dedication day in and day out, its amazing how much hard work you have to do to be like these Bboy's in this movie. It takes years of training to achieve what you seen in this movie. While Krumpin, anger anger and more anger ohh yea i forgot intensity brings flailing arms and looking mean. Furthermore, Bboying/Popping/Locking doesn't get any props in todays society especially in America. The Krumpers in this movie know they can't compete with the bboy's so thats why they had to make the rule " The truest to the style of dance." Willis said some nonsense about bboy's during the movie that anyone in their right mind would say its bs. The bboy's stayed true to their word and "Demolished" the Krumpers without even trying. I give this movie a 5 only because it had a somewhat interesting story and had Bboys defeat the Krumpers convincingly only to hear that it was a tie at the end. Ohh and I almost forgot I'm not a 40 year old person, I'm only 19 and I can tell you that Bboying requires the most dedication and work and at the end of the day its the most amazing. Regardless of what this movie says about it.
I also noticed, that when the krumpers were on stage dancing, the editors in the movie dubbed screams and hype men while they were dancing, while the bboys they didn't dub anything in them it was just the audience claps and some cheers. This is a really biased movie, dubbing fake screams and cheers while the krumpers were dancing, you notice it right away since the people watching the battle, their mouths are not moving.
