Storyline

Jim, the cheapest Chinese American dude in LA, has recently been left by his fiancé, Katherine two weeks before their wedding on Valentine's Day. In order to ease his pain, he asks his long-time best friend and ex-con, Alex, to kill him. Alex reluctantly agrees to give Jim his wish, but he doesn't think its a good idea to do the job down in LA. So Jim and Alex begin their journey with a trip up to Jim's Aunt's cabin in the mountains, under the strict condition that all business is to be taken care of before Valentine's Day. This was a fun ass ride! AWESOME MOVIE!!!!
5 September 2006 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

What a great movie this was! Nothing like it i've ever seen before made by Asian Americans or anyone else.

Completely original and totally unpredictable scenes. The acting was superb, the story was great and the jokes were just amazing. I had heard great things about this movie from some people, but was really skeptical as to how good they said it was.

The movie was rather complex it was kinda like Sideways meets Garden State meets Napoleon Dynamite, but leaves you feeling pretty damn good when its over.

I really thought the writing and dialog was amazingly real and the humor was just so different and hilarious.

I would totally recommend this movie for anyone who wants to have a great time at the movies and see something completely different from the mainstream junk.
