Astute XXX drama about role playing
lor_7 March 2018
A fine example of Bud Lee's work during his Sin City sojourn, "The Game" refers to husband and wife Evan Stone and Lene Hefner (billed simply as "Lene") regularly going to a bar where she can flirt with a man, Stone getting his rocks off (pre-sex with his wife himself) by a mild version of the currently hot Adult topic of hotwifing.

This practice naturally leads to dramatic results which I won't spoil here, but Lee coaxes convincing acting performances from his cast, besides the expected (and delivered) hot sex content.

Besides Lene, most of the femme cast is also given the star "one-name" treatment worthy of a Cher, Madonna or Charro, including Monique (Alexander, still in her girl/girl only phase), Kelsey (Heart, she of the fabulous nipples) and Charmane (Star). Also on hand in a stylish guest spot as a prostitute with fetching short red hairdo is the underrated British import Layla Jade.

Lee sets up the action at the bar with plenty of effective foreshadowing, notably the participation of nominal villain/voyeur Mark Davis. Hunter is a successful guy who dreams of his novel becoming a success but is met only with rejection letters, while Davis is a big-shot publisher, so the story moves along in a familiar "Indecent Proposal" mode.
