Good start to the 'new' Transformers, but..........
8 February 2007 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

This episode continued the series, set just after Transformers : The Movie. Showed real promise and story line. Offered a delicious look into the past and origins of the Transformers. Sadly though, the new Autobots and Decepticons introduced to this new season were a bit limp compared to the original cast. Good earthbound stories began to disintegrate too. I do agree with others comments. This season on were designed to sell toys. Not to do both entertain AND sell toys. The following episodes showed some promise here and there and The Return Of Optimus Prime was fantastic. At long last this series is getting a much needed DVD release, in beautiful box sets too. Genius.
