Icons of Fright interview with Bill Moseley!!!

Anyone who is into horror films knows who Bill Moseley is, that’s just a fact. He’s played some pretty iconic villains, such as Chop-Top in Tobe Hooper’s 1986 classic, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2, as well as fan favorite Otis B. Driftwood in Rob Zombie’s House Of 1000 Corpses and The Devil’S Rejects. He’s also an accomplished musician, fronting Spider Mountain and Cornbugs (a band that showcases Bill in his Chop-Top persona on vocals and guitarist Buckethead supplying some creepy yet fun music). Bill’s made a name for himself in the horror genre as being an intense, sometimes off the wall character actor, and personally, I’ve been a Massive fan of his dating back to seeing TCM 2 for the first time, as a kid. So, you could say I was pretty stoked to be able to call Bill up for an interview and

Exclusive: Kane Hodder’s “Old 37” gets rolling, adds Moseley & FX talent
Fango got the scoop that Bill Moseley, who previously shared the screen with Hodder in The Devil’S Rejects and Fallen Angels, will play his brother in Old 37 (which we last reported on here). Directed and edited by Christian Winters from a script by Paul Travers (also producing with Carrie Alton, Dayna Ghiraldi and Evan Greenhill), the movie sees the twisted siblings posing as paramedics, intercepting 911 calls and picking up victims in the titular vintage ambulance. The cast also includes Brandi Cyrus (Miley’s sister), Caitlin Harris, Olivia Alexander, Maxwell Zagorski, Ben Schneider and Mindy White. Creating the carnage is Brian Spears, whose many credits include I Sell The Dead, Stake Land, The Innkeepers, V/H/S and the upcoming Hellbenders and We Are What We Are.

“I’m really excited to be a part of Old 37,” Moseley says. “I love the script and the characters. It’s

Kevin McCarthy obituary

Elegant and charming supporting actor with more than 200 credits over a 70-year career

Kevin McCarthy, who has died aged 96, notched up more than 70 years as a working actor on stage and screen, with more than 200 film and TV credits. However mundane the material, it was usually enhanced by his lazy charm and natural elegance, his intriguing baritone voice and unconventional good looks – all attributes that might well have led him down the political path of his cousin, senator Eugene McCarthy. As it happened, he preferred to play politicians rather than be one.

He received his first screen credit in Laslo Benedek's version of Death of a Salesman (1951). McCarthy had previously played Biff, one of Willy Loman's disillusioned sons, in the London production of Arthur Miller's play, in 1949. By the time of the movie, he was a youthful-looking 37, with considerable stage experience. Resuming the role of Biff, he held
