a psycho-drama on the Philippine middle class

Warning: Spoilers
It starts slow with the introduction of the characters one by one, more overviews rather than snapshots. The tension is similarly slowly built up. Events, people, and paranoia create an interesting web of lies, truths and everything in between. It snowballs into a family affair inside the compound, where majority of the story revolves and takes place. The resolve in the end (spoiler alert!) is a bit confusing. The way reality and the imagined intertwine makes the viewer have a bit of dilemma with what to choose as an end. I never really got it the first time i watched it. i think I'll need to watch it a second time to fully have my own grasp on the themes of the movie. Features great tracks and powerful acting from the lead. A well-made movie.
