Quotes

[Charles's final threat to keep Martha silent]
Charles Logan: And I tell you something else, Martha. If you blow up like this again I'll fill you so full of drugs you won't even remember your own name. And then I will have you shipped off to an asylum where you can spend the rest of your life there if you like. Are we clear?
[Martha's so shaken up that she can't even an answer right away]
Charles Logan: I said... *are we clear?*
Martha Logan: [completely broken down sobbing] Yes.
Charles Logan: Good. Now get yourself cleaned up. You're a mess.

this last episode doesn't really connect to the whole series
3 October 2006 | by (Netherlands) – See all my reviews

First of all i have to say I really loved this season! It was exciting and dramatic on many levels. Also in this series they managed to keep up the pace, it never gets boring. With no exception the episodes contain all sorts of surprises. The main characters like Bill Buchanan, Chloe and Edgar are very likable. They really try to do everything they can in order to help Jack Bauer. I do have one point about CTU. How come they do not screen their employees a little better. I mean aren't there any more reliable employees around who won't try to commit treason the moment they get the chance to do it. I understand it is to keep us on our toes to keep it thrilling. But after a while it gets annoying. The writers/producers have to think of something else because it gets boring.

I had a problem connecting the last episode to the rest of the episodes in this series. It gives you some closure on some characters but it has a cliffhanger ending which was actually a letdown. I think they could have done better on this part like they did with the earlier shows. There are more issues I have but I will forgive the makers because they made a good show that entertains you to the fullest. This show has involved me as much as it did with Babylon 5 and Farscape and that is the best compliment I can give because they are the best series ever made on this planet! "I'll give you my word"
